Solid mechanics is the branch of continuum mechanics that studies the behavior of solid materials, especially their motion and deformation under the action of forces, temperature changes, phase changes, and other external or internal agents. This tutorial only uses elements from the tensor mechanics module. Therefore it can be run using the executable from the tensor mechanics module, the executable from the combined module, or the executable of a MOOSE based application that pulls from the tensor mechanics module.
